GGP Staff

God’s Garden Preschool is blessed to have such a wonderful staff! Our teachers are mothers who consider it a joy and privilege to participate in the development of the children entrusted to us. We take our role seriously as we work alongside families, with the Lord’s help, in the awesome task of preparing these little ones spiritually as well as academically. All teachers participate in a pre-service training week prior to the start of school and are required to attend a monthly training class that focus on positive discipline strategies, learning styles, developmentally appropriate practices, preschool literacy, and hands on learning. We are a Licensed preschool and our teachers are required to attend 24 hours of annual training as well being CPR/First Aid certified (SIDs certified for teachers who teach 2 years and under).
If you are interested in joining our team of teachers, subs or volunteers please contact Michelle Coffin by email: or phone: 972-775-3743.

I knew from an early age that I wanted to work with children. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education from Purdue University. I have over 25 years of experience teaching and working with children, including working for NAEYC accredited schools. I believe all children should have access to a safe, high quality early childhood education that includes a developmentally appropriate curriculum; knowledgeable and well-trained staff and educators in an environment that respects and supports our Christian beliefs.

I moved here from Massachusetts with my husband and three kids. After only a month of being in Texas, God brought me to serve at GGP! I am very excited to be part of a great team of dedicated teachers that are here for you and your child.
