What is Food4Kids? 

Food4 Kids is a program that provides food for eligible Midlothian middle and elementary school students on week-ends when food is not otherwise available. 


Who facilitates it?

Upper Room SS class plan, shop, bag and deliver a specified list of foods which meets specific dietary guidelines and appeals to children and teens.  


Whom does it serve?

Students on free and reduced lunches whose parents opt into the program.  Within MISD 22% of the students are economically disadvantaged while 31% of the students at J. R. Irvin Elementary School are economically disadvantaged.  Students at J. R. Irvin and Frank Seale Middle School are currently being served.


How much does it cost?

For 1 child:  School Year (9 months) – $270 which is $30 for 1 month
