It is our desire to make room for Jesus to be the center of our lives so that He may have an impact on the world around us. Our ministries strive to be a place where students have freedom in Christ and know that they are loved through relationships, fellowship, lots of fun and relevant teaching which speaks to their generation.
Youth Gatherings
Wednesday Night Youth Group & Worship
Our Youth gathers to learn the Word of God so that they may pursue God through worship, videos, teaching, prayer, games and fellowship. This takes place on Wednesday nights in the Family Life Center (FLC) from 6:30-8 PM. Youth dinner starts at 6 PM.
Confirmation
Confirmation is the “next step” in a young person’s life in which they choose to become a follower of Jesus. As many are baptized as infants, this is a choice to proclaim one’s faith and become a full member in the church. We offer Confirmation classes that run from the beginning of the year through the spring. For more information, click Confirmation.
Special Events
Throughout the year we have several special events ranging from in house lazer tag wars to whirly ball trips and much more. These trips are designed to mix fun and faith out in the real world with different challenges for each activity. Sometimes we pray for someone we don’t know. Sometimes it’s making sure that each staff member is thanked and appreciated for taking care of us. These events help us to constantly look for ways God can use us to share His love.
Youth Missions
Our Youth Ministries strive to create several opportunities a year to participate in mission work both in town, and even across the world. Everything we do starts with Christ and what He has called each of us to do, which is share the Gospel with all nations. Mission work to help those in need is our foundation!
In-Town Missions – Our in town missions program allows us to search in our own community for folks in need. It allows us to look outside of ourselves, as well as gives us a chance to be the hands and feet of Christ to our neighbors. Each in town mission project can range from a day’s worth of work to a month, whatever is need really. God calls us to always be ready to serve and to love your neighbor as yourself!
